Warriors guard Klay Thompson recently reflected on his podcast after losing Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.
On his mood after the Game 7 loss, Thompson said: “The Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals was one of the games I want to forget, but you just can’t forget those moments. The feeling of a loss is much stronger than any victory. , I’ll never forget how I felt walking back to the NBA jersey room after a game. The first thing I saw after the final bell was Richard Jefferson with his hands up in celebration and I was pissed off , I just wanted to say, ‘Fuck you, Richard!’ That feeling is something you can’t really describe, the frustration inside of you, all that hard work for nothing. It hurts so much. , still hurts me.”
